A new study from Japan found that daytime drowsiness and regular naptime during the long day may be linked to an increased risk of type 2 diabetes.

Type 2 diabetes is a chronic condition that affects how the body processes blood sugar. Diabetes greatly increases a patient's risk of serious complications such as heart disease, strokes, and kidney failure.
