My Preferred Diabetes Device Sites

Where you wear your type 1 diabetes devices on your body is a personal choice and there are many factors that can make one site preferable over another. In this video, I talk about all the places I have tried using my Omnipod insulin pump and Dexcom G6 CGM, and I talk about why some places are better for me than others. Hopefully this is helpful if you are thinking about getting a diabetes device – I did not wear any diabetes device for 18 years and now I wear two comfortably on my body at all times, but it took a bit of getting used to before I fully embraced my bits bionics.
Patch pump considerations vary greatly from tubed insulin pumps, where only the cannula is attached to your body, but as always, this is just my personal experience 🙂

Let me know where your favorite sites are, or what the deciding factors are for you!
