Reactive Hypoglycemia (Very Important)

Reactive Hypoglycemia (Very Important)

Reactive Hypoglycemia? Having episodes of reactive hypoglycemia is never a pleasurable experience. A sudden drop in blood glucose levels can occur without any symptoms or warning. A person suffering from blood sugar experiences extremely frustrating episodes of mood swings, tremors, sweating, nausea, hunger and blurred vision.

A reactive hypoglycemia diet is different from that of a diabetic or hypoglycemia. High fiber, restricted sugar simple, whole grain foods, fruits and vegetables mainly comprise a reactive diet hypoglycemia. However, do not completely avoid carbohydrates because they further aid in the regulation of bood sugar.

Other causes of hypoglycemia in children are rare. However, hypoglycemia can occur after strenuous exercise, during prolonged fasting, or as a result of accidental ingestion, by taking certain medications or by abusing alcohol.
