Is Intermittent Fasting for women BAD?

Is Intermittent Fasting for women BAD?

Intermittent fasting for women can be a problem and not because women are making mistakes. I mentioned in my first video about intermittent fasting (Leangains, 8 hour diet, Eat Stop Eat, Warrior Diet, Quantum Eating) that many women suffer the negative effects of intermittent fasting and I decided that it needed its own video as it's a very complicated subject. There are a few women who have side effects with fasting, there is a large percentage of women who have issues with fasting such as anxiety, adrenal fatigue, insomnia and disordered eating. I go over reasons why some women could have difficulty with IF and some options on how to still get some of the benefits of fasting without starving for extended periods of time.

I also recognize that there are many women who love IF and have great results and lose weight easily. Fasting is not bad – it just does not work for all women. The truth is whether or not intermittent fasting is ultimately dependent on how it works for you. YMMV. Listen to your body!
