I stopped eating red meat and here's why! So more than 3 weeks ago I made the decision to eliminate red meat from my diet. Now I only consume chicken and fish! Beef has always been a comfort food for me and unfortunately it has not been helpful for my binge eating problems. This is another step to becoming a vegetarian and, hopefully, a vegan. Beef has always been a difficulty in my digestive system and it did not help me with my constant symptoms of IBS. In the long term, excessive consumption of red meat can lead to an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, colon cancer and many other types of cancer. I hope this still helps me to continue in the right direction for a fully optimized health! Follow me on this trip and I will have updates!
