Yoga Nidra (also known as Yogic Dream) is a powerful relaxation technique that you can do when you gain some control over the relaxation response. When practiced correctly, this technique can be as restorative as sleep, while remaining fully conscious. However, if you do not practice it successfully and fall asleep, the dream will be as refreshing as performing Yoga Nidra successfully.

1: Find a recording of someone reading the Yoga Nidra instructions aloud.
2: Prepare blankets, a soft rug or other comfortable surface to sit or lie on
3: Prepare any comfort like incense, candle, gentleman, etc.
4: wear loose clothing
5: Warm up with greetings in the sun, or Surya Namaskar
6: make the room as quiet as possible
