How to Adjust Active Insulin on The MiniMed™ 670G System

The MiniMed ™ 670G system allows you to change the time of active insulin when in manual mode or SmartGuard ™ automatic mode. Active insulin time is the amount of time that any insulin remaining from a previous insulin dose, or bolus, is still active in your body. Watch this instructional video for instructions on how to adjust the active insulin in your insulin pump and ask your team of health professionals about your individual settings.

The MiniMed ™ 670G system with SmartGuard ™ technology is the world's first integrated insulin pump system that mimics some of the functions of a healthy pancreas. This revolutionary technology automatically adjusts (some user interaction is required) to help keep glucose levels within range so you can spend more time enjoying life and less time managing diabetes.
The MiniMed ™ 670G system is for Type 1 from 14 years and up. It may not be safe for children under 7 or who use less than 8 units of insulin / day. It is not recommended to calibrate your CGM device when the sensor or blood glucose values change rapidly, eg. after a meal of physical exercise. See
