Gracie Sevilla – Type 1 Diabetic Star Athlete – Grace for the Cure – Kids Basketball


Gracie Sevilla was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in March of last year (2018), but it has not prevented this incredible girl from living a normal life, apart from the daily insulin injections she needs to survive, or excelling in the sports .

Gracie uses a Dexcom G6 continuous glucose monitoring device that is placed on her thigh at all times. It allows parents to see their blood glucose levels at all times and sounds an alarm when it goes below 100 and above 260, so they can treat it.

Gracie has a GoFundMe for a specially trained diabetic alert dog that can alert her and her parents 15 minutes before the Dexcom G6 device.

Gracie is a star basketball player, a soccer player, a baseball player, a soccer player, and she also loves the hoverboard, the skate and the bicycle. She also wants to be an animator, perform ballet and gymnastics, soon.

Gracie loves her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and loves to sing Christian worship music, being her favorite artist, Phil Wickham.

THE. Reggae Legend, Smoothie Jones, is a friend of the family and Gracie also loves her music.
