Is diet soda related to diabetes? According to recent research, artificial sweeteners alter our intestinal microflora / bacteria, which worsens our ability to regulate glucose. Another reason to avoid diet soda. The biggest problem, however, is the worsening of our sweets. Like sugar, our consumption of artificial sweeteners such as Splenda (sucralose) and Nutrasweet (aspartame) is increasing. Our love for sweeteners, also natural (Stevia), shows that our addiction to sweetness is only getting worse. So, if things are not so sweet anymore, it does not mean that your taste buds do not work. It means that you have become tolerant of sweet taste. Why has that sweet taste made us feel so good? This means that it is time to find an alternative solution for your fatigue, stress relief and sweet addiction. More on that subject later.
