Diabetes: What You Can Do

A fasting blood sugar level greater than 126 mg / dL (7 mmol / L) means you probably have diabetes.
Follow these tips:
1. Eat a healthy diet. Low in sugar and low in fat. Lose weight.
2. Participate in moderate exercise, but take care of your feet.
3. Check your blood sugar twice a week.
4. Check with your doctor regularly if you need medication.
