Dr. Berg discussed the reason why diabetes persists because of how it is defined. Diabetes is a condition or condition in which you can not maintain your blood sugar levels, where it begins to develop high blood sugar levels. Between 1979 and 1997, normal fasting was below 140 mg / dl and the way they diagnosed diabetes is when they have blood sugar levels above 140 mg / dl on two different occasions. Then, in 1997, they changed the way they diagnosed diabetes, since in something greater than 126 mg / dl, fasting glucose was considered diabetes.

The normal level of sugar in the blood is between 70-85mg / dl when fasting. If your blood sugar level is between 85 and 100, it is considered to be subclinical, as it gradually enters prediabetes, which will eventually become actual diabetes.
