This is a very complicated question that most patients ask if they have diabetes when eating sugars. The answer is No or yes, we can not be very clear about exactly what sugars are. Yes, if sugars are taken a large amount daily, then it is one of the factors that cause diabetes. Eating too much sugar is one of the factors that cause diabetes, but it is not a leading cause of diabetes. Diabetes is caused basically because it is a hereditary disease, lack of physical activity, high carbohydrate intake less protein and carbohydrate intake, no physical activity, goal-oriented work, private sleep or disturbed rhythm of sleep. These are the causative factors of lifestyle illness to an acquired diabetes. The consumption of sugars high in sugar is not only a criterion for developing diabetes. It is always a myth that high sugars are always a causative agent of diabetes.
