Be alert to these 9 bad habits that make you sick and stay away from them as much as possible.
1. BITTING YOUR NAILS.
One characteristic that people with anxiety usually have is to bite their nails. But are you aware that biting your nails is very disgusting? You pass many germs to your mouth when your hands touch many different things. Therefore, do not accept all those bacteria in your mouth and avoid biting your nails.
2. TOO MUCH USE COFFEE.
If you fancy a few cups of coffee every morning and an energy drink in the afternoon, it's time to reduce it a little. Because excessive caffeine consumption causes the elevation of blood pressure level and high anxiety and stress during the day.
3. Avoid going to the toilet.
Many people postpone their period of cleanliness to be in a comfortable environment. However, delaying defecation can be much or more harmful than you think. It can result in a severe case of chronic constipation, and in the most damaging cases, even death.
4. WEAR CONTACT LENSES ALL THE TIME.
For anyone who skips the use of glasses and adheres to wearing contact lenses all day, you should stop doing so. Of course, in addition to helping you see things, contact lenses prevent the eye tissue from receiving oxygen, which in turn could be a home for several infections or affect the cornea in the long term.
5. DO NOT WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE MEALS.
It may seem quite self-explanatory; However, it is not a typical practice for many. Our hands get in touch with almost everything that has germs, whether in toilet seats or shaking hands with someone else. Therefore, stop being lazy with such a small habit and be sure to instill it in your daily routine.
6. EATING TOO FAST.
When swallowing food, your throat will not give your brain or your digestive system time to process the fact that the food is being fed. Also, if you eat quickly you will overeat, as you will not realize that you are full and this increases your chances of suffering from heartburn and bloating. So eat slowly and chew your food as much as you can.
7. BREAKFAST OF JUMPING.
How many times have you heard that breakfast is the most essential meal of the day? Well, it's called that for a reason. Avoiding breakfast makes you eat later in the day, which is not good from a health point of view. People who have a full stomach with breakfast can easily be seen at lunch and dinner, so they stay fit and away from diseases.
8. GET LITTLE OR NOT SLEEP.
Persistent sleep disorders, or insomnia, can cause diabetes, stroke, heart disease, heart failure, irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure and more over time. In addition, sleeping minimally affects your intellectual processes and can affect your awareness, focus, thoughts and problem solving.
9. EAT WELL BEFORE EXERCISING.
Eating hearty meals until an hour before an exercise session can cause discomfort and, at the same time, discourage you from trying your best. It is strongly recommended that you stay away from foods high in fiber and high in fat, which take a little time to digest and can cause cramping and slowness. If you die of hunger and plan to exercise soon, take something small and easier to digest, for example, a piece of fruit.
While it is impossible to say that you will be healthy every minute of every day, at least you can do everything possible to omit these 9 bad habits that make you sick and lead a healthier life.
