I am a firm believer in whole body training, and when it comes to better results, I think it is important to train seven days a week.

Now, there is no reason to worry about overtraining, because the human body is designed to work every day without rest. With the right full body workout program, you can work your body safely, every day, without injury.

Below are three reasons why I think eliminating rest days will improve the results of your training.

Reason 1: Better fat burning
Now, it is obvious that the more work you do, the more calories you will burn, and therefore, the more fat you will lose. However, there is another trick that resistance training has up its sleeve, and that is to activate the metabolic genes in the muscle fibers.

When you train your muscles daily with weights, you activate these metabolic genes in those muscle fibers every day. This keeps those genes activated and activated, so you end up burning even more fat every day.

Reason 2: Better muscle growth
The research actually shows that with full body training and training of each muscle group every day, you can improve muscle growth and strength. This goes back to the activation of that same gene in the muscle fibers.

The activation of the genes involved in muscle growth and synthesis every day through resistance training keeps the protein synthesis processes activated, which can lead to greater gains in muscle size and strength. By never taking a day off, these synthesizing processes remain activated.

Reason 3: Better general health
Once again, the key to better overall health can reside in the daily activation of genes through exercise. Those genes that are involved in metabolism are also involved in health outcomes. Activating these metabolic genes every day through daily training can help promote longevity, while reducing the risk of diseases such as depression, heart disease, cancer and type 2 diabetes.
